The SABHIBA initiative, in partnership with the City of Ekurhuleni, the Department of Social Development (DSD), the Department of Small Business Development, Ward 71 Councillor’s Office, and supported by South African National Rainbow News, is set to host a powerful youth empowerment and business development event on 10 June 2026 in Daveyton. The initiative aims to shape and sharpen young minds by creating opportunities that will uplift, inspire, and empower the youth and unemployed citizens of the community.

According to community stakeholder Michael Dlamini, this important platform is designed to transform dreams into reality by supporting aspiring entrepreneurs, existing businesses, and unemployed citizens who are determined to build a better future. Young people from Daveyton and surrounding areas are encouraged to attend in large numbers and bring along their company registration documents if they already own businesses, while those who dream of starting companies will receive guidance, support, and access to opportunities that can help turn their visions into successful enterprises.
