Thabang P Modisha, a 30-year-old native of Olifantsfontein and a proud product of Ga Matlala Phoffu, is poised to grace the runway as a finalist in the esteemed #MrGayNationsSA pageant.
Founded by Juan Smith, #MrGayNations South Africa stands as an annual beacon of beauty with a powerful advocacy: “End discrimination and Violence of LGBTQI+ in our society.”
With a diverse repertoire as a Criminal Justice student, actor, writer, model, stylist, acting trainer, and the founder of Miss Prime Gauteng, Thabang is more than ready to strut for a noble cause.
His vision extends beyond the runway; he sees himself vying for the coveted #MrSA crown in the near future. Thabang envisions this platform as not only a space for beauty but also as a catalyst for peace, urging young men to pursue their dreams and champion a safe environment for all.
Hailing from Ga Matlala, Phoffu, Modisha is deeply committed to inspiring positive change. He sees #MrGayNationsSA as a beacon of self-belief and is dedicated to leveraging this opportunity to foster a brighter future for his country.
“My passion lies in following in the footsteps of those who came before me, living a life of significance and service,” Thabang remarks.
Beyond the glitz and glamour, Modisha is a staunch advocate for talent development and empowerment. As a facilitator at Xilaveko Media Production, he imparts acting and media entrepreneurship skills to aspiring artists, aiming to not only cultivate self-employment but also uplift the economic landscape of the nation.

Modisha’s commitment to societal betterment is palpable through his numerous initiatives against violence targeting the LGBTIQ+ community and youth empowerment. Notably, he recently hosted the Royal Gala Event to raise funds for an Orphanage Centre. Additionally, his “I Do Matter” program is focused on combating violence while also educating educators on LGBTQI inclusivity in schools.
In Thabang Modisha, we witness not just a model, but a beacon of hope, striving to illuminate the path towards a more peaceful and inclusive society. #LGBTQI #Peace #Empowerment
