On Saturday, 6th September 2025, history was made in Benoni, Wattville, as leaders from across Gauteng gathered for the 1st Gauteng Community Leaders Awards, hosted by the Well of Life Movement. The event was designed to recognize, celebrate, and honor Godly and effective leaders—principle-centered individuals grounded in service and dedicated to transformation within their communities.

When the Founder and Director of the initiative, Ps Jacob Mabote, took the stage, he delivered a thought-provoking address centered on VISION. Quoting Dr. Myles Munroe, he reminded leaders that “One of the greatest enemies of vision is sight.” He emphasized that vision is not determined by what is seen in the present—obstacles, delays, or lack of resources—but by what things can become. Mabote encouraged attendees to nurture and protect their vision, as it is the driving force for lasting impact.
