Day Two of the SABHIBA NPO Career and Business Exhibition opened on a vibrant Tuesday morning, continuing the momentum from the first day of this inspiring week-long event running from 15–19 September 2025. The atmosphere at Marivate Park, Daveyton, was electric as community members, exhibitors and young entrepreneurs gathered to network, learn and explore opportunities for growth.

A Warm Welcome to All Participants
The programme director, Captain Elias Sibeko, affectionately known as Captain SA, set the tone with an engaging welcome and introduction. His remarks highlighted the importance of unity, youth empowerment and collaboration between local businesses, government departments and community organisations.
Following his introduction, SA Young Vision Advertising and Marketing, represented by Elias Sibeko, officially welcomed participants and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting community-driven initiatives. This was complemented by an insightful presentation of SABHIBA’s background by Ms Josephine, who traced the organisation’s journey from a small community project to a dynamic NPO advocating for business and career development.

The heart of Day Two lay in the diverse line-up of exhibitors who shared their services, programmes and opportunities with attendees:
- Community Policing Forum (CPF) – presented by Mr Lawrence, highlighting collaborative safety initiatives between residents and law enforcement.
- Fire Department – represented by Mr McDonald, who provided vital information on fire safety, emergency response and volunteer opportunities.
- Zooks Funeral Services – presented by Mr S. Khumalo, showcasing community-based funeral support and financial planning solutions.
- Standard Bank – represented by Ms Vuyo, introducing innovative financial products designed for small businesses and individuals.
- NPO Social Development – presented by Mr Thembekile, focusing on welfare services and how non-profits can partner to reach vulnerable groups.
- Shout It Now – presented by Ms Cindy Zibi, providing insight into health and wellness initiatives for the youth.
- Department of Employment and Labour – represented by Mr L. Ramoroke, explaining employment services, job placement opportunities and labour rights.
Each presentation reinforced the exhibition’s mission to link people with practical resources and strengthen the local economy.
