Ekurhuleni North Football League: Tembisa vs Tembisa South SAPS
Venue: Tswelopele Sports Ground, Umthambeka Section, Tembisa

On Wednesday, 9 April 2025, at around 15:00, a spirited soccer match took place under the Ekurhuleni North District SAPS Football League – Week 11, where Tembisa SAPS went head-to-head against Tembisa South SAPS. The match was hosted at Tswelopele Sports Ground (Esiqongweni) and drew enthusiastic participation from SAPS members and stakeholders.

Colonel Pero, Station Commander of Tembisa South SAPS, alongside Lt. Colonel Nzuza (Vispol Commander), Social Crime Prevention officers, and the CPF Executive, came out in full support of their team. The match served not only as a sporting event but as a platform to unite law enforcement personnel and reinforce teamwork within the SAPS community.

Despite the match ending in a 3–1 defeat for Tembisa South SAPS, spirits remained high. The support from management and fellow officers was overwhelming and truly appreciated by the players.
