An extraordinary organization run by a special human being by the name of Pinky Myeza. Pinky Myeza is the director of the Pinky M Foundation NPO. She was the victim of rape at the age of 10, abandoned by her parents, and ended up living in the streets. After all this painful and emotional experience, she started an organization to help other women who are victims of abuse. “Stay safe, Jesus, and heal the broken heart,” said Pinky Myeza, telling South African Rainbow News about her good deeds of uplifting and helping people in her community.
When asked what she aimed to achieve with the Pinky M Foundation, she briefly explained that “it is the mission of the Pinky M Foundation to support women in our country who are victims of abuse by empowering and improving their self-esteem, e.g., physical, emotional, and cognitive, as well as healing broken hearts through motivation and entertainment.
And support children in different ways that can improve their lives”. “Pinky Myeza is a humanitarian by nature; she is very compassionate and caring,” said a volunteer at Pinky M. Stating that Ms. Myeza’s organization is playing a significant and positive role in the community. Healing broken hearts and uplifting women’s self-esteems through motivation and entertainment, among other ways, and supporting children by setting up ways of improving their talents such as music, poetry, and handwork, South African Rainbow News witnessed the love from the Pinky M Foundation and the impact it has on society.
Pinky Myeza is truly an inspiration to the people; she has turned her sad story into a motivational story and her tears into water for the thirsty and helpless. It takes a home to raise a child, but it takes a community to raise a nation, and with people like Pinky Myeza and her organization, the future looks really bright.
