A Warm Welcome to Coach Tumelo Prince Lamola
As the new season begins, we proudly welcome Coach Tumelo Prince Lamola to the Gauteng Young Vision family. Born on 13 July 1993 and raised in Tembisa, Tumelo’s journey in football has come full circle — from a talented street player to a respected coach shaping the next generation.
Coach Tumelo’s playing career saw him represent numerous local teams, including:
- Super Boy FC
- Flamingo FC
- Tembisa Sports Center
- Zone 14 FC
- Pro Side FC
- FC Alex
- Highlands Park
- Baberwa FC
His coaching career began at Blades FC, and today, he steps into a new challenge — leading our boys under the GYV-SARN umbrella with purpose and passion. “It’s a great experience for me as a former player,” says Coach Tumelo. “Yesterday’s first training session with the boys was incredible. I’m here to help build a culture of growth and development.”
