Kgomotso Khalo’s journey into founding her NGO was one birthed from pain, hardship, and the call to serve. After battling through depression following her divorce, Kgomotso received a revelation to stop feeling sorry for herself and start helping other women avoid the same pain. “It was during my darkest times, diagnosed with major depression, that I sought help, and in the process, I answered the call to assist others,” she shared. Through helping others, Kgomotso was able to find healing herself. #WomenHelpingWomen #RiseFromPain

The NGO’s mission is to help women grow in all aspects of their lives, from spiritual to financial, family, friendships, business, career, health, personal growth, and education. Kgomotso’s vision is to create a spark in every woman’s life, to show them that nothing is stopping them from being valuable. She aims to ignite a movement where women understand the importance of growing unapologetically. “I want women to grow in every area, knowing they can contend for their personal equity,” she says. #PersonalGrowth #EmpoweredWomen

A key theme that Kgomotso emphasizes is the integration of both spiritual and practical aspects of life. “As much as I want people to be pioneers in their lives, it is my role to help them understand they can do so with a soul filled with power, surrendering to a higher source.” She explains that life is not just about physical achievements but also spiritual fulfillment, which forms the core of her teachings. #SpiritualFulfillment #PurposeDrivenLife

Kgomotso acknowledges the unique challenges women face today, from workplace inequalities to feeling voiceless in society. “We still struggle for relevancy, especially in a generation that normalizes what is not aligned with God’s word, just for the sake of being cool.” She emphasizes the need for women to rise above these challenges through knowledge and biblical principles, citing, “The Bible says, ‘My people perish for lack of knowledge.’ We aim to ignite that fire for destiny within every woman who attends our events.” #WomenInTheWorkplace #KnowledgeIsPower

In a recent Girl Talk event, Kgomotso hosted two powerful speakers who focused on the importance of character. Both speakers have walked paths of rejection and personal challenges, bringing real-life stories that resonate with the women attending. “We humans like to spiritualize everything, but we need to be real with each other to fix our crowns and walk confidently,” she remarked. The event’s focus was to provide real solutions to the struggles faced by the “girl next door.” #CharacterBuilding #RealTalkForWomen

Kgomotso is passionate about making her initiatives accessible to those who need them the most. She often holds her events at hotels, where attendees pay to participate, but this time she decided to give back to her community by hosting the event at a more accessible location. “It was rewarding to bring valuable information directly to those who need it,” she said. She plans to host more events like these in the future, emphasizing the power of collaboration to reach more people. #CommunityEmpowerment #WomenInCollaboration

Looking ahead, Kgomotso has big plans for partnerships with skincare products, food brands, and literacy initiatives. She believes that these collaborations can have a meaningful impact on women’s self-esteem, health, and personal growth. “Our bodies are temples, and we must nourish them. Women need to feed their families with nourishing food, and food brands can raise awareness through their advertising,” she shared. She also stresses the importance of reading and is currently working on a book aimed at inspiring women on her journey. #SelfEsteemMatters #WomenWhoRead

Kgomotso’s advice to anyone wanting to embark on a similar journey is to ensure it is a true calling. “Don’t do things just because someone else is doing it. Challenges will come, and they will frustrate you if you’re not passionate about your mission. Start small if necessary, but answer the call to serve.” #AnswerTheCall #ServeWithPurpose

The event’s MC, Sylvia Mahlunuku, made her debut and impressed the audience with her poise and patience, provoking meaningful discussions. “I believe the Holy Spirit guided me to choose her; she came out of her shell beautifully,” Kgomotso said. Pastor Mrs. Seema Quayson, founder of Women in Convention Christian Network, and Pastor Patricia Khumalo, founder of Sisters Keeper, were among the speakers, blessing the audience with their powerful messages about healing and sisterhood. #WomenInMinistry #SistersKeeper
